Let's Build Something Wild

Whether you've got a full-blown vision or just an idea that won't leave you alone, we're here to hash it out

Drop Us a Line

We're not gonna lie - we love talking shop about sustainable design and adventure spaces. Coffee's always on, and we're usually buried in sketches or just back from some site visit covered in mud.

The Folks Behind the Blueprints

We're architects, sure, but we're also climbers, hikers, and outdoor junkies who actually use the spaces we design

Sarah Chen

Sarah Chen

Principal Architect & Founder

"Spent my twenties doing the corporate architecture thing in Toronto. Good work, but something was missing, you know? Took a sabbatical to thru-hike the West Coast Trail and it hit me - why aren't more architects thinking about how buildings can actually enhance wild spaces instead of fighting them?"

Philosophy: "Every structure should make people feel more connected to where they are, not less. If your building could be anywhere, you've probably missed the point."

Marcus Okoye

Marcus Okoye

Lead Designer & Sustainability Director

"Grew up in Calgary, got my degree in environmental design, and immediately went to work for a firm doing massive resort complexes. Beautiful work, horrible ecological footprint. Started moonlighting on smaller eco-projects and never looked back. Met Sarah at a green building conference and here we are."

Philosophy: "Sustainable doesn't mean sacrificing comfort or aesthetics. It means being smarter about materials, honest about impact, and creative about solutions."

Jamie Park

Jamie Park

Project Architect

"Former backcountry ski guide turned architect. Figured if I was gonna spend winters in avalanche terrain anyway, might as well design the huts people actually want to stay in."

Focus: Cold-climate design & remote site logistics

Leila Rashid

Leila Rashid

Structural Engineer

"Someone's gotta make sure Sarah's wild ideas actually stand up. That's where I come in. Also really into rock climbing, which helps when we're talking about cantilevered viewing platforms."

Focus: Structural integrity & natural material engineering

Tom Whitehorse

Tom Whitehorse

Indigenous Design Consultant

"I help make sure we're respecting the land and the people who've been here way longer than any of us. Traditional knowledge isn't just nice to have - it's essential."

Focus: Cultural sensitivity & traditional building methods
